One of the best places to listen to a vehicle’s engine note through its power band is on a dyno; and that’s exactly what Audi did with its R8 V10 plus.
Demonstrating the power of the German automaker’s mid-engined performance car, the 542 hp R8 V10 plus got strapped down to an all-wheel drive dyno before it rowed through its gears at high-rpm bliss. To make it even better, Audi removed some of the back panels of the vehicle including the rear bumper and dropped the restrictive mufflers from the exhaust system.
The result? Car porn. And here we thought YouTube didn’t allow such a thing.
